  • Paul Hobaica, MD - Medical Director

    Paul Hobaica, MD - Medical Director

    Paul J. Hobaica, MD, is a graduate of Bridgewater State University with a degree in business administration. A Massachusetts native, Dr. Hobaica served on the staff at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center from 1996 through 1999 and is board certified in internal medicine. He relocated to Florida in 1999 and joined the emergency department at Naples Community Hospital for a year before starting his own practice.

    As an interesting complement to his professional background in primary and emergency care, Dr. Hobaica also worked as a firefighter and emergency medical technician for several years. He developed a health care program for the first responders of Collier County, where he still serves as fire department physician.

    Paul joined Arthrex in the spring of 2011, and he was challenged by the opportunity to use both his entrepreneurial business interest and his medical background in internal/occupational medicine. Paul is very excited about the challenges and growth in the corporate medical program at Arthrex.


  • Connie Metger

    Connie Metzger, RN, BSN - Medical Practice Manager

    Connie Metzger is a registered nurse with more than 30 years of experience in the medical profession. Connie’s career began as an aerospace medical technician in the United States Air Force (USAF), where she provided medical support to test pilots and astronauts. Upon exiting the USAF, Connie earned her nursing degree from Florida Southwestern State College and has worked in both critical care and employee health nursing. She has more than 11 years’ experience managing an onsite employer-sponsored health clinic in Lee County.

    Connie has been married to her husband, Mike, for over 30 years, and they have two grown daughters who are graduates of University of Central Florida and Florida State University.


  • Cheri Cable - Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner

    Cheri Cable, APRN

    Cheri Cable is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) specializing in primary care. She graduated from the University of South Florida in 2011 and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

    A local resident for the past 40 years, Cheri traveled extensively throughout the United States as a contract nurse before returning to Florida to attend graduate school. She practiced in Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, New York, South Carolina, and California. Cheri has worked at Arthrex Medical Center since 2012 and is primarily stationed at the ALC clinic in Fort Myers.

    Prior to Arthrex, Cheri was employed in emergency medicine/urgent care settings at local hospitals. Cheri and her husband, Pablo, have two lovely daughters, and they love to spend their free time together. Her passion is patient education, which drew her to a career in primary care.


  • Alex Stafford - PA

    Alex Stafford, PA-C

    Alex Stafford joined Arthrex in September 2016 as a physician assistant. She previously worked in internal medicine, primary care, and urgent care. Alex was also a physician assistant in the United States Air Force, where she provided primary care to military personnel and their families. She also worked in presidential support and flight medicine in addition to being deployed to Afghanistan.

    Alex graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Florida’s Honors College with a Bachelor of Science in 2005. She is a proud alumna of Nova Southeastern University’s physician assistant program, from which she graduated with distinguished honors and Bachelor of Science and Master of Medical Science degrees.


  • Lillie Lienhardt

    Lillie Lienhardt, PA-C

    Lillie Lienhardt is a physician assistant who began her medical career in the emergency department of a hospital located in Naples, FL. She has a Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies from Nova Southeastern University. In addition to her position at Arthrex, she works part time in the emergency room and at an urgent care facility. Lillie also works closely with Florida Gulf Coast University, her undergraduate alma mater, in support of their new physician assistant program. Lillie believes in a holistic approach to medicine and strives to promote wellness through mindfulness and medicine.

    Prior to starting a career in medicine, Lillie was an intern in the Medical Education Department at Arthrex. Inspired by her fellow PA coworkers and the innovative environment, she took a hiatus to pursue a degree in medicine. She is very thankful and humbled to have the opportunity to return.

    In her free time, Lillie can be found relaxing on her boat or by the pool with her husband, Chris. She also enjoys staying active, cooking and baking, and watching movies.


  • MerryLee Foster

    MerryLee Foster, APRN, FNP-BC

    MerryLee Foster is a proud native of Anderson, SC. She worked in a pharmacy while obtaining her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Clemson University. MerryLee earned a second bachelor’s degree and a master’s in nursing from Clemson as well. She has been a practicing, board-certified family nurse practitioner since 2009.

    MerryLee and her husband, Will, have two children and a beloved golden retriever. During her personal time, she enjoys homemaking, gardening, spending quality time with her family, long runs, exploring the southeast, and anything Clemson.


  • Jonathan Notelle

    Jonathan Notelle, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

    Jonathan Notelle joined Arthrex in July 2021 as a certified advanced practice registered nurse (APRN). He received his Bachelor of Science in nursing from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2011. Throughout his career as a registered nurse, Jonathan has worked in the operating room, coronary intensive care unit, and critical care hemodialysis unit. Jonathan graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2015 with a Master of Science in nursing, specializing in family practice. As an APRN, he has experience with interventional pain management, urgent care medicine, advanced anesthetics and regenerative medicine, and family practice. Jonathan is certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, of which he is a member.

    Jonathan spends his time outside the Arthrex Medical Center enjoying the company of his wife, Taya, and his three daughters Evelyn, Annette, and Madeline.

  • Anna Carney - PA-C

    Anna Carney, PA-C

    Anna Carney is a certified physician assistant who joined the Arthrex Medical Center team in 2022. She is a longtime resident of Naples, FL, and she is a proud graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University. Anna graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in community health and a minor in chemistry in 2018. Shortly after, she continued her education at Florida Gulf Coast University where she earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree.

    Outside of work, Anna enjoys relaxing on the beautiful beaches of southwest Florida, making s’mores by bonfire, and spending time with family and friends.
